This page explains what data this site collects, why, and how to exercise your rights over it — in particular data submitted via the quote request form.

What data do we collect?
Via the quote request form: information about your technical need (grade, dimensions, quantity, requirements), information about your company (name, company, business email, phone, country) and, if you provide one, an attached file (drawing, bill of materials, specification).
This site uses no tracking cookie and no localStorage for content or
personalisation. sessionStorage is used only to keep a calculator tool's
state or unit choice (mm/inches) during your visit — never for personal data — and is cleared when the
tab is closed.
Why do we process this data?
To respond to your quote request: qualify your need, check with our European sourcing agreements or partner mills, and send you a price, a lead time and alternatives.
Who receives this data?
Internally, the Special Piping Services people handling your request. Three processors are involved technically: Brevo, for sending and managing form-related emails; Cloudflare, which provides the site's proxy and anti-bot protection (including the Turnstile service on the form); Hostinger International Limited, host of the server (VPS) on which the site and quote requests are kept. A transfer outside the European Union may occur through these providers (Brevo and Cloudflare in particular); it is then governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or an equivalent mechanism under their respective contractual terms.
How long do we keep this data?
For as long as needed to process your quote request, then kept on the VPS under routine backups. By submitting the form, you give your explicit agreement to the transmission of your information as part of responding to a quote request or a tender.
What are your rights?
You have a right of access, rectification, erasure and objection over your personal data. To exercise them, contact us at the address on the contact page; we respond within the one-month period set by GDPR. Special Piping Services has not appointed a data protection officer, as its size does not require one.
